Welcome to our cake size and portion guide. When ordering a cake knowing the right size is crucial, so that you know how many portions it can serve at your event or gathering.
CAKE PORTIONS
The size of cake portions can vary depending on the occasion and the size of the cake being served. The two main portion sizes are dessert portions and finger portions.

FINGER PORTION: This is a 1x1" slice and is usually used at weddings and afternoon tea where the portions are smaller.

DESSERT PORTION: This is a 2x1" slice and is usually served at birthdays and parties/occasions where the cake is the main dessert.
